April showers bring May flowers, but for this sweet couple, April brought a day of joy, love, and unforgettable memories. Nestled along the serene shores of Sea Bright, New Jersey, Tommy’s Tavern and Tap provided the perfect backdrop for a Sea Bright New Jersey beach wedding that was nothing short of spectacular. As a wedding photographer, capturing these precious moments at such a unique venue was an absolute delight.
They opted for a private first look on the beach. John had the sweetest reaction to seeing his bride-to-be and they were able to really savor the moment. I am such a huge fan of first looks exactly for this reason. There’s no rush, you get to spend a few private moments alone on your wedding to really take it all in and be present with each other (without the pressure of 100+ guests staring at them).
Blocking out time to do couple portraits right after the first look really helps with the flow of the day. My couples really value and prioritize this portrait time. Getting them done while emotions and excitement are still high from the first look works out perfectly every time!
